Hale Macrobiotic Restaurant

The world must be coming to an end because I've been eating macrobiotic food.  And liking it!  I was introduced to macrobiotic food by Jayne, my healthy friend.  I have to say it's been a revelation.  Who knew that eating food without meat, processed food, dairy or sugar could be so tasty?  Actually, not the dessert so much.  Macrobiotic dessert is definitely kinda yucky without dairy and sugar.  Salt, however, appears to be acceptable, which is probably why I tolerate this cooking philosophy so well.

My first macrobiotic meal was at The Well Bento.  Everything was always delicious, but it was strictly take-out so I rarely went.   Earlier this year, Hale (pronounced "hah lay") Macrobiotic Restaurant changed all that by combining delish, healthy food in a relaxing environment.  It's located on Makaloa St., near Wal-Mart.
